CHRISTMAS SNACKS 2 OF 3: HERBED CHEVIN AND PROSCIUTTO GRISSINI

Prep 20 mins
Serves As many as desired

Pop a bunch of them in a glass and breadsticks – aka Italian grissini – make a delightful focal point on any festive table, buffet spread and bar cart. But because it’s Christmas we think extra indulgence is in order. A sinfully generous schmear of soft and creamy goat’s cheese, some quality aged ham and for freshness something peppery and green like rocket sounds just about right.

- WHAT YOU WILL NEED -

  • store-bought grissini (crisp Italian bread sticks)
  • soft goats’ cheese (chevin)
  • Canadian Herb & Spice MEDITERRANEAN ROAST
  • wild rocket
  • prosciutto or serrano ham slices (or any other aged ham of your choice)

- METHOD -

Mix soft goats’ cheese with a sprinkling of Cape Herb & Spice Mediterranean Rub spice – start with a little and taste as you go to see how herby you like it. Place a generous dollop of cheese at the top of a bread stick. Add a sprig of rocket and wrap around prosciutto.
