Recipes DECADENT SALTED SKILLET SMORES
DECADENT SALTED SKILLET SMORES
So, your much anticipated 'Braai Day' feast would not be complete without something for those with a sweet tooth! This offering is ridiculously easy...just don't forget to pack that heavy bottomed skillet in the boot together with your braai (barbeque for our overseas followers) grid!
- WHAT YOU WILL NEED -
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 400g good quality dark chocolate, roughly chopped
- To taste, NEW CERAMIC PINK HIMALAYAN SALT GRINDER
- 20-30 marshmallows
- Biscuits for serving
- METHOD -
Begin by melting the butter in a skillet over medium heat or on the grid over hot coals. Remove the pan from the heat and add the chopped chocolate, using a spoon to spread it out evenly. Add as much Cape Herb & Spice Himalayan Pink Salt as desired, although we suggest a generous grinding to offset all the sweetness or the mallows. Top with an arrangement of marshmallows. Place the skillet under the grill or over the braai until the marshmallows are toasted/ melted to perfect gooeyness (about 15 min). Then serve on their own, or use your favourite biscuit to scoop up all that melted decadence.
