EASY CHRISTMAS SIDES 1 of 3: VEGGIE PLATTER
Fresh, healthy, tasty and incredibly easy – that’s the way we’re going with our Christmas sides this year. The secret to elevating it to festive food? It’s all in the spice!
- METHOD -
Steam the green beans until just done and refresh by dunking them into ice water. Fry the courgettes and vine tomatoes in the olive oil. Plate the lot up on a large platter, drizzle over lemon juice and give it a lick of garlic-flavoured olive oil, then dust with our Cape Herb & Spice Steam Veggie Seasoning.
(Cook’s tip: You can buy garlic-flavoured olive oil or you can simply make your own. Just smash two garlic cloves and cook them over very low heat in plain olive oil for a few minutes. Remove the cloves and voila – garlic-flavoured olive oil!)
